Got our new w205 -Thanks everyone
I learned so much from this board and want to thank everyone for all the posts and information.
Back in March, I was collecting quotes for another BMW (3/4 series) for my wife and then she saw the new CLA. We test drove it and didn't like it at all (two thumbs down)... C-YA Mercedes.
I then read about the amazing deals people were getting in Cali on the new C class and that has many options that my 7 series has. So we went and test drove it and really like it from the get go. -Almost sold.
I collected from quotes for the c300 from dealers all over and they were coming about $100 per month cheaper then the CLA. --Sold
I starting working with Crown Mercedes in St. Pete, FL. They would match the Cali deals, but didn't have all the options I really wanted -White, Heads-up, Distronic, Air suspension, leather, a/c seats, sun roof.
Crown then told me I could order what I wanted, but I was really in need of a car ASAP. So then they offered to let me rent a loaner (heavy discounted) for the two months it took to build our custom car. --DONE DEAL!
So yesterday we got the car! with almost 10k off MSRP.
-It is amazing and looks so much better then my 7 series...

Nice cars; love them both. From the photos, it looks as if the 7 and C are about the same size; care to give us your prospective? Why are there an iPhone suspended in the air in each of the interior shots?

The 7 is about 18-24 inches longer then the C. The 7 also has wider seats, which I like, but the C seems more supportive. I need to drive the C more to see how it handles compares to to 7.
The mount is the first MOD I did to the car. You just stick the mount into your CD-Player (i never use) and the provided metal piece to your smart phone. I will make a seperate post about it. Best $17 you can spend on your car, Easy on/Easy off....
