Display Not Working

2015 Mercedes Benz C300 Sport

Display Not Working

Hello all! This morning I hopped in my car and the display would not turn on. I tried turning the car off and on as well as the COMAND power off and on multiple times and still nothing.

The radio worked and I could even change stations using the knob but the display would not show anything. Pic attached.

Has this happened to anyone before? I dropped it off at the dealership this morning and they said they had not seen this problem yet. 2600 miles on this bad boy.

Sport package, premium package, multimedia package.

Not "wishing to teach Granny to suck eggs" but did you try a COMAND reset - ie Holding the CD Eject button for 10 secs?

Did not try that, however after i dropped the car off I asked my buddy at the dealership to go out to my car and do what eq suggested and as soon as he turned the car on, the display was working again (of course).

However if this happens again in the future, will try the above suggestions.

Blank screen issue happened to me this morning. Radio was still working and could change stations using the dial. Power on/off did switch comand on/off but screen still wouldn’t come on. Ignition on/off also didn’t resolve.

Thanks to this thread, I tried the press eject button for 10secs and it reset my comand! Mercedes boot logo came up and system started up like normal.
