Sounds from door seals

Anyone else notice this? My car doesn't even have 1000 miles on it yet but i'm noticing small sounds from the door seals when i go over small bumps or enter a driveway. It's almost as if the chassis is flexing and I can hear the door seal adjusting, specifically in the front two doors. I have the wind noise issue as well, make me think that either the doors aren't adjusted tightly enough or the rubber is just not doing a good job sealing the doors.

If it's where the rubber seals meet painted metal... You can use carnuba wax to paint and that'll get rid of some of this

Also you can apply some armor all to the rubber seals and that can get rid of some of it

Even better would be Aerospace 303 spray or a small amount of pure silicone lubricant. Anything with distillates will degrade the rubber there (though it would solve the noise and look shiny)

so just confirming this is not a defect? does all car have it

i am just reaching 900 KMs on mine and i started to notice this earlier this week.

It is becoming increasingly annoying as i constantly notice it.

Is there a similar solution for the wind noise or can dealer help fix the matter?

Let me know

I had this recently with the rubbers around my pano roof. Rubber lubricant resolved it. All cars get this now and then, my z4 is convertible and covered in seals that tick and squeak without regular rubber lube.

Depends on the base of the product. I wouldn't use wd40, but something like:

http://www.super-lube.com/silicone-l...fe-ezp-53.html

Or

http://www.goldeagle.com/product/303...ace-protectant

The first one is also good to use on pool parts, other lubricating, should be used sparingly. Small tube should last a lifetime. The second one has a lot of car uses.
