Anyone having issues with Keyless Entry in the C400

Anyone having issues with Keyless Entry in the C400
So this problem only just started creeping up and it's inconsistent to when I get it. It doesn't matter how long I leave the car for or how close I get to it, it's completely random (to me it seems).
Some times I would leave the car, come back and when I touch the handle nothing happens. I would then take the fob out and press the unlock button and then all of them to see if it works, and nothing does. The light on the FOB would light up and nothing would happen. Only other option is to take out the "actual" key and turn it and once I do that and I place my hand back on the handle everything lights up and it opens the car
. I am assuming it's something like having a hung connection on a router, you're connected you see there is internet access but you still can't connect. 
Any ideas as to what this is? Or how I can fix this without going to the dealership?

been experiencing this since day one on delivery when sales person demonstrates my keyless entry. still haven't figured out why and how to reproduce this. I simply walk away and try again after a minute or so. Sometimes i really had to take out my phone and pretend that I had a phone call to answer instead of an awkward problem with my keyless entry.
