Just curious if Mercedes Benz gives any type of gift to their customers since this 2015 C300 I'll hopefully be picking up next week is my first Benz.

Since purchasing her 2014 BMW 328i xDrive, my wife has received a BMW key ring, and a nice BMW pen.

They would appear somewhat OCD about the number two.

Nothing here in the UK other than the dealer supplied MB umbrella, that only just fits under the rear boot tray in the estate/wagon as its enormous.

Depends on country and dealership...
For my first two benzes I've received a key ring and that's it (two different dealerships in Belgium).
For my C-class I've received a bottle of champagne in addition to the key ring

When I bought the car, I got two keychains (woo hoo).

But, when the car had a severe problem (water leaking into the car and pooling in the rear footwell) the day before my son was born and the car was in the shop for 8 days, the dealership gave me two different nice gifts, that had some value behind them. Was completely unexpected. I would bet MBUSA picked up all or part of the costs for the gifts as the dealership was not responsible for the build problem that caused the leak.

2 key rings and a warm blanket. There were two reflective vests in the trunk but I'm not sure if they came from dealer or MB. I think MB.

When my girlfriend and I picked up her new C she got the two keyrings and a large bunch of flowers. When I joked "what about me" the dealer laughed and immediately offered me an umbrella and/or a MB jacket or "whatever else we have around". Then, when we took the car into our local dealer to have it checked under the recent recall we were given a nice MB steel travel mug. I guess most of the 'gifts' are at the discretion of the local dealers.
