soooo disappointed




Like many i am disappointed to have any problem given the cost of the car but it is only a minor issue just hope it is a one off!
Even Bentley's have issues. A good friend of mine is a SA for Bentley. You'd be surprised with some of the issues they have. And those cars are 5 times the cost of ours.








Went into the dealer today and they have fixed it, they think the glue holding the 2 clips which hold the top of the seat back onto the frame had not been applied thickly enough And the hot weather caused it to fail. They have reglued the clips and all is refitted. They assured me they use a professional glue as good as the factory.....so fingers crossed. Cannot fault the after sales service in seeing and remedying the problem immediately.
My sales rep was there too so i had a moan but it is true minor probs will inevitably arise from time to time but it is just so upsetting when they do.
And if it was a major problem i would have been even more annoyed! As ever once mended soon forgotten....

My second brand new mercedes 16th new car overall.......and first failure to occur so quickly. Car was collected 20th may and has covered 1925km and today i discovered the drivers seat back has parted company with the frame. It seems the 2 clips holding the seat back to the frame at the top have become unstuck, they have fallen down into the seat.



yep you are right being a diva with a first world problem! Overall I am very pleased with the car.
