Carpets... hard to clean?

Anyone else noticed that the MB carpets and mats are super clingy to fluff etc? Its almost like they made them to be as hard to vacuum as possible. Drives me mad. My BMW carpets are def easier to clean but the MB ones seem to be loop like (the mats) which holds on to stuff and is also looking worn just after 2 months (nearly the same damage on my BMW took 4 years). The main carpets seem quite grippy to fluff etc. Plus side (and probably explanation) is the mats seem to be 1/3 the price of the ones for my BMW.

Any tips for cleaning the MB mats and carpets? Particular heads, rags etc that do a good job of getting fluff etc out of them?

That's the reason I took out the MB mats and use the MB rubber mats instead. Much easier to care for.

Dog hair vacuums up WAY easier in this car vs my old Mazdaspeed 3. Not easily, just easier. I bought a set of car detailing vacuum attachments off Amazon that make things better.

2015 C220 AMG Line Bluetech.
I use a decent Carpet Protection spray (something like Diamond Brite, or the like) - this helps stop dirt/grime sticking to the fibres.

I also spray the carpet with a surfactant spray, before brushing with a (very) stiff hand brush. That gets most of the bits off.
