I realise this is slightly picky but...
So while my other half drove a few days ago I noticed that the trim on the inside of the windscreen didn't fit flush. It is, in fact, quite wonky and there's not a consistent space between the trim and the glass. It bulges out when it gets close to the dash and then goes back in again. Any attempt to correct it is without result.
Where the red arrows are, you can see the black painted surround of the windscreen. Yet the interior trim then goes towards the green arrow (where the bulge is) where there is no painted windscreen showing, before it goes back in again to show the painted windscreen surround. Thus bulge is apparent on both sides of the interior windscreen trim.
Is yours the same?

That's naughty! Get them to try & correct it. However, if they have to unstick the glass to rectify say no!

It's the interior pillar trim (the bit that has the airbag badge on it) and it just unclips. It's very thin and unsupported other than where the bulge is (perhaps that's the airbag?). I feel I should pull it off and try to bend it into a straight shape but I don't see why I should. It simply looks uneven due to the black window edge showing at the top then disappearing as the plastic bulges out lower in the pillar. Just feels a bit unfinished and tacky looking.

Yes I realise that but does it push against the screen? If not it should be an easy fix.

No it fixes to the pillar as a cover only so it could be removed and attempted to reshape. It's the same on both sides. If the black glass edge wasn't there I wouldn't notice it but as the black glass edge shows the unevenness of the trim its bugging me. A bit cheap tbh. It should be supported if they can't make straight plastic.

And yes the windscreen black mask has always covered A pillar & back of dash innards.
