I just picked up my car from the dealer today! It's a Palladium C300 Sport, Black Ash Open Pore, Blind Spot Assist, Parktronic, Lighting Pkg, Multimedia, Pano, 18-inch AMG 5-Spoke Alloy etc. It was ordered in late March and it arrived here at the dealer this past Tuesday.
This was my second order, my initial order from January was delivered in March but with the Comfort suspension which I declined hence, the re-order. This car has a build date of 6/15. By the way, due to traffic on the way back I was only able to do 65Mph to test for wind noise. However, even at that speed the car was whisper quiet . I will post better pictures when I get a chance.
StanH you are correct, it looks like Alabama has tightened things up as this car's fit and finish is much better than one of my earlier W205 loaners. Bumper is properly aligned and no wind noise.
I went into the dealership to order the Iridium but as I sat there and looked at the Iridium in the showroom side by side with a Palladium, I changed my mind and went with the Palladium and I am glad I did.

I had a real problem deciding between Iridium and Palladium when I picked up my first C300. I went with Iridium on that one, but decided to try the Palladium on number two. I really like the Palladium, and it seems to accent the lines of the car more than the lighter silver. The big advantage, so far, is that my wife hasn't once tried to get into the wrong car in a parking lot.
what do you think of the pore wood? I was really excited until I saw some
The pore wood is a good alternative to the gloss black and is fine. I personally would have chosen the brown pore if that option was available here in the US. Its quite grainy to the touch but looks really good if all patterns line up as mine do as you can see in the attached picture (Pardon the sticker, took a quick pic at the dealership).

I went with the Iridium as well but seeing these Palladium ones around is giving me a tinge of buyer's remorse... they look very sharp.
I had Iridium on my last SLK, and have Tenorite on my current W204, so decided on the Palladium for the new W205.
I love the Diamond Silver in the book and online and was going to get that until I saw one in real life. It seemed so flat and too much of a blue tint.
