Windshield washer system - filling up

I've owned my C400 for about 5k miles and man, I can't believe how many times I've had to fill up the windshield washer reservoir. After this post, I'll be heading out to the garage to fill it for the third time! I've checked the system and there are no leaks and everything works properly. Is everybody else having the same experience? My wife does drive on a highway almost everyday so uses it for all those dead bugs. I just figured with three squirters and almost daily use it could happen....

10,000 km for mine, but not using it all the time. I was a bit surprised but it does give a vigorous spurt

It's a three nozzle system, so it does use more washer fluid than what you may be used to. Still, it shouldn't be that much of a difference. It might be a good idea to have your dealer check for a leak if you're using that much fluid.

Thing is, if its being used every single day, its going to empty quickly. I barely use mine unless its winter.

Filled mine only once in the winter. It seems like a large tank. The pump failed on mine and had to be replaced though.

No, there are no headlight washers. The washers only fitted on Xenon equipped cars in the UK - presume the LEDs don't run so hot, so don't leave dirt behind?

I have over 4K miles and never fill it once; I don't even know where the reservoir is. I'm in South Jersee so the weather is not a factor, maybe your 400 runs faster than my 300.
