I am starting to hate this car!
So issue number 4376 : My touchpad stopped working today. I guess it is stuck in the down position, can't click it or use it.
Add it to the long list of other issues. I think I have surpassed Stan and thensome. Italics indicates the item has been repaired/addressed by dealer.
Mercedes Problems 02/12/2015
1) MBtex seats bleeding and oozing white substance when below freezing
2) Rear Bumper not aligned to the rear fender correctly
3) Chrome trim on drivers front door not aligned to rear door chrome trim
4) Front brakes squealing when temp outside is cold
5) Excessive wind noise at front doors
6) 485 comfort suspension instead of 486 sport suspension

11) Car wouldn’t start, all lights on, all safety systems off

Sorry to hear of all your issues RustyCruiser. I've said it numerous times replacing the MBTex covers will never be a 100% quality job by the dealer. Things will eventually start looking saggy or wrinkled in places it's not supposed to be. Nothing will be the same as the factory.
This for me alone would be the dealbreaker and I'd probably return the car. Nothing like getting into your brand new car and seeing the saggy seats, something I'd expect on a 200k mile, 11 year old KIA.

I'd say it's time to get MB-USA involved with your dealer to work out a trade deal. They'll throw in some goodies, like an extended warranty, to help take the sting out of the depreciation hit. Your dealer also has some discretionary "customer satisfaction" cash available to use towards mitigating the trade difference. You will have to spend some cash but, based on my own experience, it's worth it. In your case, you can also order a 2016 model and come out okay.
My suggestion is to call MB-USA Monday morning and ask for a new car. That should get things started and also get you a case manager assigned. It is a negotiation, but I think you will be able to work out an equitable settlement.

WOW.. I'm glad my car has literally none of these issues.
Out of curiosity, how did you determine the car had the comfort vs. sport suspension?

I have the sport package with the comfort suspension. I don't its something that the dealer would resolve. My car definitely sits higher than the other sport models.

In the UK the sports package comes with Comfort Suspension - but lowered by 15mm. The sports suspension only comes on the AMG line models.
One would think that sports suspension comes with the sports model, but it was clear on my specification (and in the brochure) when I ordered that this was not the case and I was actually happy with this. The sports package came with other features I wanted, but was happy to have comfort suspension - I can stiffen it up if I want with the agility select.
Did you specifically order Sports suspension or was it on the car specification sheet?

That was the problem in the US a lot of dealers including mine ordered incorrectly and Sport Package cars were built with Comfort Suspension. Of course I declined my initial order which was delivered with the Comfort Suspension and re-ordered the car I have now which has the Sport Suspension.

'15 Lexus IS 350 F SPORT
I'm so sorry to hear about your problems. I also had suspension issues and cruise control problems among a long list of defects. It is unfortunate that what was supposed to be a highly evolutionary car has been set back with so many problems.
Long story short, the myriad of quality problems with my C300 is the reason I now drive a Lexus. I now drive a 2015 IS 350 F Sport AWD. Very happy with the switch. Plus - Lexus' award winning customer service and dealer experience made it even easier.
I hope you are able to work out a resolution with your vehicle.

I fear that my car might have this issue. I look at my car and then at photos of 'amg package' ones online and they seem to be much lower.

Plug your VIN number into the URL provided by Rustycruiser and see whats included in your build. The picture of the car in your sig. does look like it sits pretty high. That would be a first - a C400 with Comfort Suspension. Check out my C300 on Page 33 of the Picture thread to see how a Sport Suspension equipped car should sit.

You can look up your car's data card using it's VIN number on a number of websites. This is the one I used : http://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/vin_check

It took a couple of tries for my cars info to show up but it did. Try again. Stan make sure you enter the letters in your VIN # in UPPERCASE that made the difference for me.

I just ran my VIN and I got a shock. It said I had Sport Suspension (486 SPORTS SUSPENSION). The only problem is that I did not order the sport package. I have complained many times about how bad the ride is - now I know why. I have had the car for six months. What do I do now. How could they make me whole? How can I confirm on the car that it is the sport suspension.

I gotta ask, hpilot; was it supposed to say (on the report you posted) that you have a sport suspension? If so, I can't see it. (but then, my wife says I'm going blind... so that might be it).
But then, this report also says you've got two sets of wheels (both 17 and 18 inch)
