LED lighting
Just reading some posts on here regarding LED and Intelligent LED lighting in the C Class. Can anyone explain the difference to me? Not sure which I have ordered!
Putting to one side the Halogen version, there are the two variants, static (ie fixed beam) and intelligent (cornering). They look slightly different (see images)

Beyond that, the intelligent version does some neat tricks:
A) the beams turn to reflect the steering angle - so, as you steer around a bend, the lights seem to peer around the corner.
B) when you are indicating to turn around a junction, a further lamp illuminates at 90 degrees, lighting up the side road.
In addition, yo get the Adaptive High beam, in our market, this means the High beam doesn't actually dip, the lights drop down, just where an oncoming car is - meaning they don't get dazzled, but you keep the benefits of a high beam ahead of you. This is truly stunning - and you find yourself looking out for the beam dropping ahead of oncoming cars - quite spectacular.
There is a fairly decent You Tube, to explain a little of what they do.

I must admit, I am very excited now. I have just checked my options and confirmed I have the intelligent lighting system. Very very cool!

Does this also mean that when you drive to the continent or vice versa for me, we do not need to somehow change the direction of our lights so that they are not interfering with oncoming traffic?
Yes, with ILS you adjust left/right beams via steering wheel menus - settings - Lights - Dipped Beams Setting - Left or Right Traffic.
Good news for you, that!
