First MB Order Placed; the long wait begins!
Hi all
I'm new to the forum and i've just signed off the spec for my new C Class Estate (my first MB). I've had mostly Audi's previously but fancied a change and the W205 looks stunning.
I've gone for;
C200 Estate D Manual (drivetrain dictated by our company car list unfortunately)
AMG Line
Brilliant Blue
Dark ash wood interior
Black Artico leather
Privacy Glass
At the moment i'm torn between sticking with the 18" 5 spokes, and paying the extra for the 19" multispokes.
I have to pay for all the extras myself, and already shelling out £2k+ to upgrade from the SE Exec to the AMG Line, so not sure if they're worth the extra £500...
Also, what are the views on the standard piano black trim? I've heard a few noises that it scratches/marks very easily...

From experience in a glk the black piano trim will be difficult to keep in good condition, it does show every finger mark and scratches very easily...just dusting can leave marks, the wood finish is much easier to maintain. I specced a mat wood, frene, not sure what the uk option calls it...but i think it is ash in english ( i live in france). It looks as good as the day it was delivered.
I am interested in comfort so have airmatic on 17 inch wheels still goes nicely around twisty roads...

2015 C200 W205 AMG Line
I just received mine after almost a 8 month wait (Perth, Australia). But it was definitely well worth the wait. This car is Amazing.

I'm with you! As a long time BMW driver (9 cars) I've just ordered my first C Class.
We have a pretty strict company car policy so my spec is as below, I'm being told December at he moment but I guess that is going to change.
I've had to take the Piano black so I will be devising methods of polishing no doubt in the near future.
Spec:
C200d Sport with Auto box
Polar white, grey interior.
Black out rear windows
360degree camera
Looking forward to getting it, had to juggle with my car allowance to go for that as we aren't allowed to contribute. I've driven the 200d a couple of times and for the engine it's a really perky drive.

I'm being told December as well, hopefully it'll be sooner than that as I'm currently stuck in an Insignia rental until it arrives.
