Unless the C205 grill is really different from previous C Class & E Class removal is not very difficult. I have replaced previous C & E grills. Had help from local shop. Removal took less than 10 min. Nothing to do with grill,radiator,bumper etc.

def different, W204 was a joke but the W205, bumper comes off!
Hi guys! Just bought grill replacement for my w205.. anyone knows how to install this or its needs professional shop to do it? appreciate your inputs.
You will first need to remove front bumper. Not too difficult to do. Then remove old grill from bumper, it's secured by mostly clips and padding.

As already posted, the front bumper will need to be removed to swap grilles. The multiple online videos will walk you through it. It may seem scary but it's really not difficult at all and one person can easily handle it. Just don't force anything.
The grille is only fastened by a series of tabs and slots. It all just snaps in and out.
Any W205 grille will fit. The only exception I'm aware of is the luxury grille, which is a different animal (pictured below).

It's my understanding that the star is interchangeable with the round badge as they both mount the same.. So you can get the classic grill and swap out the star hood ornament.
