I'm thinking of getting the C63 grille when it's available and plasti-dipping the amg badge black to hide it since I don't think it would be removable.
Let me know when you decide to swap the w205 c63 grill onto the c300. I m interested in the same project myself. Hopefully the oem grill doesn't require disassembling the whole bumper.

has anyone already tried to install the grill ? I've received mine from the Chinese vendor (ebay). it looks great.
Mine is in customs . Bumper removal is necessary as in my CLA. If you install be so kind to record the steps. My C is custom ordered and does not arrive until April. Yeah, my wife is TO'd I keep buying parts for a a car I still don't have, I am going to get the airmatic lowering links and ECU mod (wont' install until after 1500 miles of gentle break in).
This wait is killing me!
Also, can you take close up pics of what you received, want to see the quality.

Thanks, it looks very good, let's see fitment. On ebay it shows I should receive it by Friday, it's already in SF post office.

Hi Vic, I am also interested to find out about removing the bumper. Mine is a MY14 E class though. I'm planning to switch out my stock sports grill to the E63 ones.
Here you go go again (sorry for the delay Vic), directly on the post. Also, received mine (in the US) yesterday, pics included. My car arrives in April So I can't install it. However, I took the star from my CLA and it looks like the start will fit ok, so fitment might be good too.
I think it compliments the C class, I love the deeper on the top half, it is more pronounced than on my CLA.
I got one too from the same guy in China, it looks good and high quality, he gave me two choices to chose from, either the standard one or the black glossy finish one like the AMG450 which I chose for my car, it's going to be delivered in 20 days..hopefully

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised, honestly, not 100% OEM, but very close. BTW, do you have a pic of the one you chose? I did not have a choice, was one of the first ones.
Packaging is good, not the greatest, but good enough for the grill to come intact. I don't have my car yet, so looking forward to the fitment pics when you install it.

So I can't install it. However, I took the star from my CLA and it looks like the start will fit ok, so fitment might be good too.
