For me, ordering was the only way to go for the MY16. My lease isn't up for a couple more months. And I didn't want to find they had none in stock at the right time with the options I want. This time around, I'm paying for the car in total up front as I want to keep it for a long time. At my age, it's getting tiresome to switch cars out every 3 or so years. So, I'm getting every option that will make me happy!

If you can borrow at a good rate (quite possible given the current rates) and someone can make you money in the market at a rate much better than that over 5 years, it may not be a bad idea to finance it even if you have cash to spare. Some upside to it if you are ok with the financing headache.
Although the scheduled delivery of my MY2016 C300 is "end of September or early October", I just found out today that it has been shipped. I'm told it could arrive any day. Although that probably means a couple of weeks from now (afterall, it has to cross the US/Canada border to get here), it's still ahead of schedule.

I am getting a great rate and I'll be able to deduct the interest at tax time as I'm using my house to finance the cars. I actually need the deduction at tax time.

Getting excited.
You are going to be one of the first Canadians who will be driving in a MY2016 C Class

Any idea on the pricing yet?
Pricing still isn't in the system. But the Sales Manager was pretty sure there would be minimal increases. He has lots of MY 2016 orders without prices and he would be very surprised if there was a large price increase without some warning allowing expectations to be set.
BTW, I ordered mine in May and they changed an inventory order to my spec at that time, so it was really ordered before then. That may be why I'm (hopefully) seeing a relatively early Canadian delivery.

I'm surprised the Canada MB system doesn't have pricing. The US system most definitely does. And the prices I posted in the thread I started about having ordered my 2016 C are the MY16 prices, directly from the dealer's system.

Me too. Surprised and frustrated!
But gee. Maybe if my car arrives before the prices are posted I won't have to pay.
Congratulations! She's a Beauty for sure! I'm getting the same interior and noticed your seats aren't ventilated? Here in the US, with the interior package (which includes leather), the seats are ventilated as a standard feature. Is it not included where you are?

I don't think ventilated seats were an option for the Canadian C300 because its too cold up here!

Well, it's hot down here in Florida. I wound up ordering the Interior Package, JUST to have the ventilated seats. And the Cranberry Red Leather is nice looking to boot!

With the humidity in Florida, ventilated seats is a gotta have option.
The cranberry red leather is very nice! It is probably the main reason why i got this C300 over the o ther one that I saw the same day which had the black Artico upholstery.

My 2012 E350 Coupe has the Cranberry Red Leather seats and I love them enough that getting them in the C300 was a no brainer. The color has worn extremely well and I've had the car now about 4 years. They didn't offer ventilated seats at that time. So adding the ventilated seat option will make them even nicer.

Did you use any leather protectant or conditioner to keep the leather looking good after 4 years of use?
The only thing I can't get to work properly on this car so far is the parking assist. It always want to parallel park but not perpendicular park. When the park assist prompts, it doesn't ask if you want what type of parking you want, just if you want assistance.

Maybe the first year, I put some leather protector on, but haven't since and it's holding up great.
I didn't order parking assist. I have friends who have had it and they constantly complain it's difficult, or their wheels get scraped on curbs. I'll park my car the old fashioned way.
