C Class Add ons
My Canadian dealer has a 2015 White C300 that is equipped with the Burmester speaker upgrade ($1,000) and AMG interior package ($850)
I love the look of the Burmester grill as it adds a nice touch of aluminum to the side panel but is the sound quality worth the additional $1000?
From pictures, Its hard for to me to see a difference with the AMG interior package. Is it the flat bottom steering wheel and AMG seats?
Please give your guys thoughts on these add ons.

W205 C250 AMG
The seats are identical except for the side bolsters and some trims are also different. The side bolster are much bigger and more extent. As for the AMG steering wheel: flat bottom style

Personally, I wouldn't own a C without the Burmeister System. Unless I was planning to drop a boatload of money on an aftermarket system. The standard system is just not very satisfying, IMHO.

I am still waiting for my 205 with Burmeister so can't comment on that, but it seems that in general, standard sound system/speakers in Mercedes suck big time.
I had standard in two of my w212's and in C63 and they were pretty bad.
My first 212 came with one rattling speaker (base) (broken pretty much), my second 212 was brand new and one speaker also went out (base) and lastly in my c63 one speaker broke (base).
I don't listen to compton opera or other type of dunka dunka music either....

It sounds like from the general consensus of C Class owners, the Burmester stereo is a good upgrade to have. I am not an audiophile by any means but I do like listening to good music when I am driving so I can justify this add on but the AMG interior, It sounds like I am just getting a flat bottom steering wheel and AMG paddle shifters, not the best use of funds IMO.
Since this is a MY2015 that is pretty loaded, I can't configure the car since they stopped production for MY2016 so It's either yay or nay. Another dealer Is getting an MY2015 with just the premium, premium, sport, LED, open pore wood for 5k less MSRP than this one.
I am trying to justify if having red leather, Burmester sound, AMG interior and power trunk is worth the extra 5k..

An audiophile recommends the Burmester system!
From 1985 to 2008, I had a car into which I sank several thousand dollars in after-market car audio. The final tuning was by the man who was probably the leading car audio installer in the U.S. (This opinion is based on industry awards, his being featured on the covers of car audio magazines, installations in the luxury cars of celebrities, etc.) The Burmester system is better than that car of mine in everything except bass. (No OEM system can compete with a system in which half the trunk is given over to a custom acoustic suspension speaker enclosure with a dedicated amplifier!).

Well, I AM an audiophile - subscription to The Absolute Sound magazine and all. I am thrilled to get a Burmester system at a price I can afford. Burmester components for the home cost tens of thousands of dollars EACH. Set up properly, the surround sound feature of the Burmester system for the C-Class often makes well-recorded music seem like you are in the concert hall. (I play classical music only.)

Now for the AMG Interior Package, this is what comes with it:
· Sports seats with additional side bolstering

· Upper part of dashboard and beltlines in black ARTICO leather with contrasting topstitching in crystal grey
· Air vents with outer surround tubes in silver
· Brushed stainless steel AMG sports pedals with black rubber studs
· Door centre panels in ARTICO leather with special AMG contrasting topstitching
· Floor mats in black with AMG lettering

You have to get the Burmeister upgrade, I didn't get it and I regret it everyday. The base speakers are absolutely horrible, they belong to a $20,000 car and I'm not exaggerating.

What color are the headliner and rear trunk deck in Canada with and without the AMG Interior Package? In the US you get an ugly grey headliner and rear trunk deck unless you get the sport or luxury package.

All the C Class models I have seen in Canada have the pano roof along with a black headliner. We get a pano roof in our Premium Package (which is a must IMO) where in the US, pano is a standalone option. I am not sure what the rear trunk deck lid color is but I am going to assume black also.

That's excellent. In the US I think Premium and Sport are both essential packages otherwise you end up with halogen headlights, crummy speakers, grey headliner and trunk deck, and no top stitching on the dash and doors.
Here pano is standalone and we can't get the standard moonroof. I have the pano but it wasn't on my essentials list.
I personally have the interior package on my essentials list but most people do not find it so essential.

Mercedes C350e
Burmester is a must if you read the comments on the base system.
I have the burmester and it's definitely not disappointing. I guess there are better systems out there, but at that price it's an easy choice.
If i could have, i would have taken the AMG package. I couldn't because the dutch importer didn't have it as an option for the C350e.
I like the steeringwheel, pedals and especially the leather with contrasting stitching on the dash. I did find the seats a bit narrow for my taste.
I'm sure the dealer will have both versions to compare the interior.

The Burmester sounds great. Played some music in the car for a friend of mine over the weekend. He used to build car stereos and he was blown away by the quality.

On the C400, Partial LED ($900 vs $1200 for Active LED) and Pano roof comes standard. Burmester comes in the Premium Package. The power trunk is an unpublished option for all models of the C class. Airmatic comes with the Sport Package.

Congrats on finding a car with these options. It seems impossible to fiund a loaded up C300. A while back I had my dealer check for a C300 with Burmester and airmatic and found nothing. I decided to wait to see what the 2016 C450 drives like with its adjustable suspension.

To add more insult to injury, the C300 comes standard without LED headlamps. Partial LED is a $900 upgrade and Full LED is $1200. The C400 comes standard with partial LED, but the upgrade to full LED is still an additional $1200!
