C400 Rear paint
The original version rear trim of the new C-class just look weird in Diamond White Color, such as diapers. So I painted it in black by plastic dip and I think it looks better than the original one. Same thing happens at the front grill, I also painted it in black.

Looks really good. I usually stick with the stock look, but I'm tempted to paint mine black as well (mine is polar white).
I suppose you removed that piece before painting? If so, how difficult is the disassembly?

No, I didn't remove that piece. I just used some tape and newspapers to cover the parts that I don't want to paint and just paint the bottom.

I've been considering plasti-dipping the rear valence as well, but for the grille, I'm going to probably just get it vinyl wrapped. Plastidip in such tight quarters can be quite the PITA.

I painted my rear diffuser as well, but I had the dealership spray the whole piece in gloss black to match the pano roof...
