Just Arrived: 2016 Black C300 Night Package!!
The interior is a major major upgrade from the W204. Exterior looks beautiful as well. Definitely not as aggressive as my previous C63C but overall I would say this was a great upgrade.
Haven't had the chance to take any real photos yet, just some iphone pics:
A few things I noticed:
1. The transmission made some funky noise during the first 15 miles or so. It sounded unusually loudd switching to any drive mode D, R or even Park. I have almost 50 miles on it now and it seemed to have went away.
2. No excessive wind noise noticeable even at 90 mph.
3. The Lighting package DRL no longer shifts from blue to white on unlock? Mine shifts from dim white to bright white. Still looks good but I always thought the blue to white was super cool.
4. This one seems to bother me the most: my side mirrors do not extend or retract together. The right side (from driver's perspective) takes more than half a second longer to open/close. I had to turn off the auto retract feature so I didn't have to see it. Would the dealership care if I complained and is there even a fix for this?
5. I've seen videos of W205s where this hole had a white LED shining downwards. Mine seems to only have LED lighting inside the handle. Is this hole for the manual key?
3) the blue lighting is only on non NA models, even the 2015s didn't have this.
5) the lighting is on the door handles, but also there should be an LED under each side mirror to shine on the floor. The door handle lights are quite bright too where they would also illuminate the area. That small hole is for you to pry open the cover to reveal the manual key lock
I'm going to the dealer today, when I see my mechanic, I'll ask about #4 (the mirrors)... He works like a brain surgeon on everything he touches, he may have seen something similar or at least have some ideas.

The new system takes a little bit of getting used to at first. I wouldn't say it's difficult to use but it's not exactly intuitive if you're used to using Apple products. That would be much appreciated! I also remember hearing someone have the same issue here in recent weeks but forgot who it was.

When you said the interior is a major upgrade, are you talking about the design of interior or better materials used.

Both the design and the quality of materials.
This is important to me because I tend to keep the car for a few more years!

You may want to talk to your dealer though. According to the first picture looks like you are going to have your first warranty repair very soon.
With the Air Balance Package the Cabin Fragrance System should be in a little canister located in the glove box. Not sure why they mounted it on the hood?? (That's Alabama for you!)
Although I do have to say it is quite pretty and probably just as fragrant - I can say with 100% certainty that you will no longer have that option after your first highway drive. Which when looking at your 2nd pic.... Unfortunately, already happened.
you cant really appreciate the contrast of the night package on the darker cars. of course the lack of chrome bits is obvious to my eye, i think it would look much better on a brighter color.
but it matches well with the black, i suppose!
