My Screen stopped Working Today
My Screen stopped Working Today. I parked my car outside of my house last night and when I got into my car 12 hours later, my console screen did not work at all. I tried everything, but nothing worked. I can't see what i'm backing into because the screen is off. When I plug my iPhone through the USB port, it automatically plays songs. I can't drive like this. Do you guys think that the screen over heated from sitting under the sun on a hot day? What should I do?

Wouldn't have a clue. But doubt it's anything serious and that's what new car warranties are for. I will be curious to see if rustycruiser's suggestion restores your screen. I will want to remember that if it does.

One time half my screen was fubar, and that fixed it (I had written it down after seeing it posted a few months back)

I don't know if happened the same to you but in my case I had some white strips in the screen.I noticed in each failure Bluetooth was on and changing my phone with a usb cable. The failure happened in the exact moment I unplugged the usb cable.
Since I stopped charging via USB, everything is back to normal.

So basically the screen turns off and again back on whenever it wants. Even goes blank and back on while driving (not as soon as it turns off). Nothing happens to any other system such as radio or reserve aids. But doing anything wouldn’t turn the screen on unless it wants to turn itself back on.
I even did a software reset on the command system, when the screen was on.
Just one point I noticed, when the screen goes blank, the brightness of the LCD instrument cluster increases even at night, and when the screen is turned back on, then the brightness of the instrument cluster gradually goes down with the command screen itself, which also turns on with high brightness after a nap.
Any support?

XPipe Today
Finally had some time to get a new X Pipe installed. Now the exhaust system is complete!! Kleeman headers, x pipe, de-catted and no resonator with stock muffler. Sounds and feels great

It does reset the Command system. The radio stops working, and restarts. The screen also reboots when its on. But when the screen goes blank, which occasionally happens that been the problem, then holding that button would restart the command system including radio, but the screen does not turn on. But if the car is parked overnight, the next day or so, the screen will turn on when I turn on the car.

do you have a map on a sd card? believe it or not, that was the solution to my problem. I ejected the SD card, and it never happened again
