Probably because some things come standard on the C450, which are options on the C300.

You are looking at my signature picture of my 2015 C300. That's not what I am talking about. Look at these built on the 2016 MY web site. There is only a very slight difference between sport and non-sport. I guess for MY 2016 they made them all look pretty much the same.

Yes, I see the difference, but I'm pretty sure the difference is exactly how it was in the 2015 model year as well.

Look at the difference in the lower aerodynamic body cladding on my MY2015 compared to the MY2016 build:

Sorry, but I don't understand what you just posted. The rear end vs the front end? On the rear end picture you posted, it's again a non-sport. The rear end of the sport has a completely different diffuser.

OK I give up. I am obviously not expressing myself well. My last post was comparing lower side body cladding of my non sport 2015 to the build picture of the non-sport 2016. To me, they are completely different, but I guess you can't see that. My bigger point is that to ME, the 2016 Sport looks like the 2016 non-sport in the web site build pictures. Obviously I must be mistaken...

Please note that the picture below is my SIGNATURE picture, and has nothing to do with my post.

You need to look again at the MBUSA site. The non-sport picture you posted looks exactly like the non-sport in the 2016 build. In fact it is my understanding there are no differences in the exterior of the 2015 and 2016. I do think there is a slight difference in one trim piece of the side mirrors, where the 2016 has a darkened trim piece, compared to the 2015, which does not. Otherwise, they're supposed to look identical. But then again, I could completely not be seeing what you see.

^^ rby, if you look at Hpilot's builds on MBUSA, the non sport and sport have the same exterior, from the air intakes in the front to the side sills. However, I think this is a glitch in the website, and there should be drastic differences between the sport and non sport

Makes sense. The entire Build system on MBUSA is one major Glitch. That's for sure. Not sure how they could mess something like that up. But they certainly did.

pricing on the mbusa site would indicate that PRICING has really gotten jacked for some C300 configs.

I had been looking for a 2015 C300
Lunar Blue
Black AMG wheels
Linden wood trim
Premium Package
Multi-media package
Heated seats
Parktronic Parking Assist.

Historically that would come in at 49,405$ including dest.

NOW, it appears that

IF one wants the AMG Black rims, they MUST buy the night package +300$ (don't want it)
IF one wants the Premium Package 2 (nearly same as old Prem) they MUST buy the Drivers Assist package at a whopping +2800$
IF one wants the Parking Assist they MUST get it with the Surround View (don't want it) at an increase in price of +310$

Making a new total MSFP with dest of 53,475$ for a total unwanted increase of 4070$

ARGHH!

One would think by now after a week since they were published in the MBUSA official website that if these options links for MY16 300's were in error, corrections would have been made?
As I mentioned in a previous post, other auto buying websites, including TruCar, still show the drivers assist package as a stand alone option.

And I verified with my dealer that the drivers assist package IS still a stand alone option. The MBUSA site is simply messed up. And yes, one would think a week later, they would have figured this out (after all, I even opened a ticket on MBUSA letting them know the build function was not correct) and fixed it, but clearly, it's just not a priority for MBUSA. It is in fact, IMHO, one of the most poorly executed sites of all car companies out there.

In case anyone's interested, MBUSA site has been updated to permit ordering the car correctly. Finally!

My C300 is also scheduled to be built during last decade of September. I was told MB has pulled ahead all the schedules at least by one month. Not sure why they did that. I was finally able to build my car on the MB website properly. What a mess it was. My dealer kept telling me that theirs was correct. I have
Multimedia package
Lighting Package
Lunar Blue Metallic Paint
Airmatic Package
Blind Spot Assist
Heated Seats
18" wheels
P2 Package
Head-Up Display

Sounds like a great build SK! My dealer will let me know tomorrow if my car was actually built and when it should arrive. Since we're also getting a new 2016 GLA250 Sport 4Matic, we'll wait for it to arrive before taking delivery of both at the same time. The GLA isn't supposed to be built until the first decade of October, meaning my C will sit at the dealer for a week or two, which means, I'll be going crazy! Yes I will.........

Hi rbrylaw
My dealer said my C300 should arrive at the end of October. Thanks for the build sheet. I believe the blind spot monitor is a stanalone option. That's what my dealer told me. It is not a part of P01. But I am not sure if that's true. So basically I am paying extra for it.

Even on my build sheet from NetStar when my car was ordered, Blind Spot Assist is listed as Accessory Code 234 for $550. So, I'm sure your dealer ordered it correctly.
