17s with the correct width and offset will work, my former wheels were OE 18.s, and I really liked them, but they wont look as good on a lowered car as a 20" setup.
I am keeping the 18s if this setup turns out to be less driveable

since you are using both 20x8.5 front and rear you have to use et35 rear this time? vossen et45 and et50...?

Vossens are 8.5" ET45 front and 10" ET55 rear
With these offsets using 8.5" front and rear, ET45 front will be the same obviously and with ET35 rear I will keep the aggressive look with only 1mm difference from my Vossens.

Looks great Vic! As always. But 20's seems a bit harsh if the winter gets as it usually does in Sweden, meaning frozen slushy roads
I haven't decided yet. If I will go for 19" or 18 for the winter. 18 seems like the wiser way to go. Since I don't have airmatic like you

Thanks Istvan, I am not worried as our last winter carried a total of three days of snow.
Southern Sweden usually have milder winters.
Then again we always have the wives car if the roads get too tough.

Do you use the pressure sensors in the winter set-up? And does anyone know what will happen when you use wheels without the sensors?
Edit: Hmm I just read that even if you have winter wheel with the sensors you have to have a reset every time you switch the wheels. It is possible to drive without the sensors but a) you will stare at a constant warning light and b) In the US and Europe the sensors are mandatory. I will ask my dealer what to do.

I have sensors in my winter setup as well, there is no need for any reset or similar, just swap wheels and the new sensors will work in a few minutes.
In our market the sensors are mandatory from Nov 2014, driving without them will initiate a message "TPMS sensors missing" and display the yellow symbol while driving.
It is not possible to disable this.
