<USA> Front License Plate on the W205's

Here in Ontario front plates are mandatory, it's not even a question that comes up from the dealer. Doesn't bother me at all. Some people try to get away without mounting it - you see ricers all the time with front plates sitting behind the windshield, like that would stop the cop from giving out a ticket if he was having a bad day LOL.
The tow hook mounted plates are another option, but I think they look so off center and strange on most cars
Maybe it's having always seen our cars with front plates, but when I see a US car without the front plate, it somehow looks bare to me. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one.

just got a ticket for no front plate in san francisco. that ahole probably got pissed that i have the disabled card on the windshield and didnt pay the parking meter. fine is $121 or 10$ fee with "certificate of correction". i going to put the front plate back on and have officer signed it off.
what happen if i take the front plate off again and next time they see me with no front plate?

Nothing. You just go to another police or CHP station to have it sign off again if you don't want to run in to the same person that does the signing and pay another $10. But chances are, you won't get the same person. They probably won't recognize you anyway.

When I bought mine I originally said put it on but when I brought it in for the due bill I changed my mind and specifically told them not to said it was fine. They put it on anyway and I made them repair and repaint the bumper, oops. No ticket yet but I heard if you park with the plate displayed front on the dash you’re in the clear? Who knows
