Help, LED light not working!!

Seriously, it's one led light on one of my door handle that went out. How long does it take to replace at the dealer and do you need to leave the car? Is this a simple DIY task? What a pain!!

Seems to be regular problem. Dealer change, I'm afraid.

I assumed it's something that needs to leave your car for and not a quick change out?

I read it involves removal of the inner door lining for replacement of the handle/led so would expect it slightly involved.

Only your dealership can determine if a loaner is necessary depending on how many cars they are currently working on. This may take a day, it may take 3 days. If they say 1 day guaranteed and you can be without a car then don't bother with a loaner. If you absolutely need a car for work get the loaner. This has been a common issue here with the door LEDs going out more than once so not sure how they screwed that up.
