I Finally Got My C300 Sport!
- The transmision is extremely smooth, with no jerky transitions as some have reported
- The power, especially for 241hp is impressive and comes on smoothly
- The Burmester Sound System is fantastic
- The leather seats are amazingly comfortable and I love the ventilated seat option!
- Coming from a 2012 E350 Coupe, Command is pretty improved and fairly easy to adjust to. Navigation is much improved over the nav that was in my E coupe
- Wind Noise. I do hear more wind noise than I had in my coupe, but it's by no means objectionable, even at 70 mph.
- I love the Intelligent Lighting System. It's just amazing.
So far I'm extremely pleased. It's beautiful inside and out.
And here are some pics, hastily taken while I was also doing the tour with the Concierge:

Interesting comment about the transmission and jerky shifts. I reported jerky shifts to my dealership about 2 days into owning the car. They said that the car "learns" my driving style and the shifts will get smoother over time, or, that I could bring the car in for them to adjust. I just haven't had time to bring the car in, but I would say the car is less jerky, now after a couple of weeks, than it was. I am still displeased with going from D1 to D3--more than just turbo lag.
Also interesting about the T&W warranty. My dealership quoted $1900, so I passed on it, and was going to shop around. I wonder if I should call them and ask them to sharpen their pencils on that warranty.

The two things I was paying close attention to was Wind Noise and Jerky shifts. On the Jerky shifts, it's smooth smooth smooth. There is an update for the transmission, which since mine was just built weeks ago, it's certainly likely my new car has the latest software. On the wind noise. There is certainly more than on my E350 Coupe, but I don't find it objectionable at all. If it got any worse, I certainly would have my dealer look at it.
On the T&W warranty. They quoted a higher price and I said it was too high, then suggested if he wanted to sell it, he should as you said, sharpen his pencil. So he did and I bought it.
I forget but are the all-weather mats very similar to the weather techs but just MB branded? Any close up shots of the mats?
This is the only picture of the MB mats I have, but what I can say is they are really nice and are made precisely for the W205 C Class. I've only had the MB mats in my MB cars for the last several years. I like that they have the MB Logo on them too.
As for extras, I paid $990 for 3 years of wheel/tire insurance, $600 for the best self-sealing Clearbra they offered (front, mirrors & top of rear bumper), and $700 for 2 years of pre-paid maintenance. And from eBay I purchased a brand new take-off set of 18" AMG wheels/all-season tires (w/TPM sensors) for $1,900 (for Winter use), and for $93, a complete set of Mercedes rubber mats...free shipping on both.

You got a great deal and the extras you paid for were reasonably priced!
I receive free car washes/interior vacuum everytime I bring my Benz in for service, but only when serviced there. The free $25 car wash cards would be used if you just wanted your car cleaned (closed on Sundays).
