2016 C300 Hyacinth Red (Premium Plus, Sport, Intelligent Drive, Airmatic, Active LED)
Delivery Times - Factory Order

Hi all,

Firstly, what a great forum, I've already learned so much!

I ordered a 2016 C300 in September with a build date of Oct 31; very excited to get the car!

Does anyone know how long I can expect to wait for shipping from the Alabama plant to my dealership in Toronto?

Thanks!

My C300 Sport was built in the Alabama plant on September 25th and showed up in Tampa about 4 days later. It was much faster than I expected for sure. Of course, Tampa is only 4.5 hours from the VPC and it could have been just a good coincidence that a truck was heading to my dealer with lot's of other cars. And the fact your car has to go through Customs would likely make the journey a bit longer than mine.

You are really lucky with that short waiting time.I ordered today a new c200 and guess what? It is promised to me in late April 2016. Nearly 6 month`s waiting time. I cannot understand this long delivery time.

Paid the deposit for my car today, haven't got a build date yet. It was getting too hard choosing which options and packages to get so I got all of them to get it over with. Who doesn't like more options?

-Pallidium Gray
-Pano Roof
-Sport Package
-Rear Spoiler
-19" Multispoke Wheels
-Black Leather
-Linden Wood
-Light Package
-Air Balance
-Heads Up
-Hands Free
-AirMatic
-Premium 2
-MultiMedia
-Park Assist
-Driver Assist

Got 10% off MSRP. It'll be delivered to the dealership in Tampa. With all of various "assist" packages I'm thinking it should be able to just drive itself home and let itself into the garage. Surprisingly, this is the first time I've been patient enough to order a build rather than getting "close enough" on the lot. This one feels more personal I guess because I'm causing its birth.

I'm starting to get smitten and it doesn't even exist yet.

What a great build Mike. When I ordered mine in late August, it drove me crazy waiting for the dealer to give me the build date and then wait for the 4.5 hour trip it has to take from Alabama, to Tampa. Now the waiting begins! This forum helped me a lot while I waited.

2016 C300 4Matic traded in for a 2022 E450 Coupe
Maybe we can get a video of driving the petrol c to a Sonic Drive In?
