Apple Car Play update?

This Apple Play talk is a bit depressing. Not a 3rd world problem, mind you. But when I just read an article about the 2016 Honda Accord which comes with Apple Play and Google (whatever they call their version) in a $22,000 car is somewhat frustrating when my $55,000 Mercedes from the same model year doesn't. And I'm going to guess that when Mercedes does bring it out in the C Class, it won't be an option we can add to our current cars.

I will say though that in my opinion Mercedes should remove the c class CarPlay YouTube video. At least the official Benz version they control. While many of us that read the forum know it's not included I could see it as confusing for the novice buyer.
At the least the video should start with a big disclaimer that the feature is not yet available.
That's just me though.

I was having a hope with the navitool post. But that post is now declared as scam.

so if appleplay will never work then how about a mirroring device for the W205? I would really like this as the Garmin Pilot I have in my car is in all Chinese.. Useless for me and its a hassle to use apple maps with the small screen on my iphone
