So what do you hate about your W205?
I have no problem with it, and actually prefer a tighter suspension, so that's not a complaint, merely an observation.

So walked into dealership. Had a really good look at W205.
First impression (these are my views):
Outside (standard and sport(amg package, downunder))
1. I like the front
2. Do NOT like the back. Somewhat odd, unconnected tailights design (compared to facelifted W204). Plastic Exhaust tips, cheapens an MB down to SSangyong.
3. The whole back design makes the car looks aneamic. Understand its for aerodynamics but could have done it better. Its very UN-MB.
Interior (standard and avantgarde)
1. Like the new steering wheel.
2. Don't like the sloping centre console
3. Don't like the STUPID, SILLY, floating screen. Everytime I get out then in again, feel like closing down the screen. It is OUT-OF-PLACE on the dash. Looks like a cheap add-on.
4. Prefer gear lever on console floor, but can live with stalk gear lever.
Driving:
Its a new car, so engine is still tight with engine management not releasing its potential.
Transmission programming, same as all (AMG excluded) MB, unintuitive. However, I have to say that it can be re-programmed through time by overwriting its memory map with my own shifting style. I have done this with my own W204. Now it shifts the way I want it to shift, albeits, sometimes it still overthinks itself.
Tyre noise (due to Continental tyres) still intrude into cabin.
For me, because the car is new, as in not run-in, I cannot make a good comparison with my W204.
Overall, I do not like the look from the back and the sore thumb sticking out of the dash.
Think, I'll skip this version.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Side profile seems awkward. The body overwhelms the wheels, even the 18", and having the C pillar almost behind the rear axle gives the car a stumpy look from the side.
Interior, I get the decision to stop trying to integrate the screen, because it handcuffs designers. The only interior gripe for me is the cheap plastic needles and printed background on the speedo and tach.
Overall, with the right color choices and especially wheels (none of the OEM wheels do the car justice IMO) I think it would be a rewarding car to own, if it were highly optioned. I don't know that it's possible to get an exterior that would cause me to go down to the garage at night to have one last look, but I probably could get it close enough.
It's an engaging car behind the wheel and it wins you over. I'm concerned that the 15s seem to have had a lot of somewhat serious quality control issues. That may have been cleaned up in the 16's. Jury is still out for me on the C. My S gets out of the shop tomorrow after two weeks. I want to get back in it now that I have a solid impression of the C.

Found couple of minor things:
1. Seat settings are not tied to the key, you have to press 1/2/3 and wait for the seat adjustments. Most cars adjust the seat based on the key being used (At least BMWs have that). This is annoying since this is our only car and both of us drive it.
2. It would have been great if the nav screen was slightly angled towards the driver.
But these are minor issues and overall, its been great so far!

- gear shift on steering wheel
- no separate stalk for wipers and turn signal
- cruise control on stalk instead of steering wheel buttons
The C is my wife's car. But I am looking at the W213 E63S when it comes out and I hope they don't have the steering shifter on that like they do on the C63.
Anyone here experiencing the same problem?

Using firmware 2.0.4 (the last version) and a cheap 6 inch cable from Amazon.

You get used to the screen very quickly. It has such a wide viewing angle that the lack of any offset becomes a non-issue.
2 ) I don't like the fact the drivers side and rear view mirror dim automatically . I am forced to have that happen.
3) having to turn off Eco mode at each start if you don't want to use it
4) no space tire is ridiculous. It's a night or weekend, you have a flat somewhere and what, you call for a tow?
5) in general is seems MB has decided they know what's best for us and have taken away our choices. It seems like the car does what it does and we just need to learn to like it or not buy the car when some simple selections could make all the difference in the world.
6) noisy engine
7)The ability to easily switch between radio stations while using the navigation
8)The fact that the key Phobes a very simple system on many lower-priced cars don't save your memory settings
9) in general I love the interior and the appearance of the car in many aspects of it but it seems like it's designed to be more a showpiece then a car and it was designed for the ease and convenience of someone that wants to drive a wonderful car

One "kick", dead center...almost touching the rear diffuser...like kicking a ball head-on.

4) Does MB actually ship cars without run flats and without spares? That's f'd up. Free roadside assistance though.
6) Agree. Burmester.
The other stuff I have no firsthand experience with or don't bother me. I am sorry your experience with the car hasn't met your expectations. I've definitely been there. I call that experience "Audi".😊
