C300 Mercedes Apps Hack

Hey Im new here and please excuse me if this has been asked in the past.
But, I just bought a 2015 C300 , and I wanted to use Mercedes applications and web browser while driving but it is disabled. I wanted to know if there is a work around to get it to work.

thanks

It's disabled for your safety and everyone else's. I will say that even while the car is stationary. The browser is so painfully slow that it's not even worth it.

I agree it is very slow, hence thats why I rather use it while driving instead of sitting there and waiting an eternity.... How do you guys deal with it ? or do you not use it ?

Thanks for the response.

I don't use while driving for obvious safety reasons. The juries out as to whether I'll continue to pay for internet service in my car past the 3 month free trial.

I subscribed to the basic MBrace service, which features some remote functions and the Send2Benz feature. The apps are about as good as a dial up connection running at 28.8.

IMHO, accessing these apps while driving would be very distracting since they involve too much driver interaction. Even if it was quick, the user interface is simply not designed for in motion use.

I found some information a while back.

http://telematicsnews.info/
http://techcenter.mercedes-benz.com/

I am an engineer and was thinking about the same thing, there are some API's but nothing like Carplay, I am waiting for carplay and hack that.
