Winter tire pressure - narrower tires

I just swapped to winter tires and not sure what tire pressure I should use. My stock tire sizes are 225/45 18 front and 255/40 18 rear. The recommended pressures are 39 psi front and 45 psi rear.

My winter tires are 225/45 18 all around, what tire pressure should I set the rear tires to, now that they are the same size as the front?

You're standard pressure is too high, and not what is recommended. The correct range of pressures is listed inside the fuel filler door, while maximum load pressures are listed on the door sill.

I run the same size snows as you are, and I find 36 all around is fine.
