Another quick DIY

Got bored decided to black out the exhaust bezels for now until I order the c63 diffuser (I prefer the look of it)
Clean the bezels very well. Dry very well. Prep. Painting is all in the prep. Take the time to clean and tape properly always makes for better paint job. Patience as well. Let things dry. Don't peel tape till all dry. Sprayed about 6 coats no clear just plain old plasti dip. Matches my satin black rim finish. Loving it till I change the rear. Here's the final product.

WALA. easy to do. Always able to peel off if I get over it. The bezels don't get nearly as hot as the actual exhaust pipes. Although I did research and plasti dip can be withheld to up to very high heats. I don't know if it's necessarily high heat paint but for the bezels it should be fine.

Waiting for the vynl to arrive any day now to wrap the grille and rear chrome stripe.

I got all the way inside and around so didn't bother taking them out. Although it's easy if people want to. Just 2 screws

Did it myself. Took approximately 2 min flat. It's very simple on brand new cars. Some floss and pulls right off

Just he 1.2" H&R springs. The 20" rims fill the wheel well very well causing the illusion that it's lower

Plasti dip job came out nice. When you were spraying your coats did you spray inside the exhaust tip? Or just the outer parts?

I had problem slipping it out too so I left it in. I sprayed all the way inside and around the outter edges in deep too. Did about 5-6 coats. Just went until it looked good and even. Check in the sun to make sure all is even. Easier to see.

I'm about to wrap my chrome pieces right now with vynl wrap. Never done this before but it's doesn't look hard. I'll try and set my phone up to video or at least pics for a DIY. Doing the rear trunk chrome strip and the front grille slats. Possibly the star but not sure if I'll have the skill for that. Here goes nothing

The 2 coats of glossifier give it a similar look to vinyl wrapping. The more coats, the glossier they get

Great post! I have a C43 and could not find any with the Night Package. They come mainly blacked, but the front lip and diffuser and tips are not. So - I am going to try dipping the diffuser and tips, as well as the one chrome strip on the front.
