Parking brake inoperative - C220 W205
I booked in my 2015 C220 bluetec for the 1st A service. After i driven less than 10km from the workshop "parking brake inoperative" popped up. MBSA took it to the nearest dealership. Sensor was replaced. After 4km the light popped up again, the whole control unit was replaced after 100km the warning light popped up again. The dealership has closed for new years Eve. I hope they will change the complete vehicle now. Is it the incompetent MBSA workshop or the issue is too big for MBSA?

I classified fault on brakes as hazardous condition. Sharing solution in this regard would be highly appreciated.
The dealership seems to be running out of ideas

Do you know which module was replaced? The electronic parking brake system is actually quite complex and involves communications between around 10 different control units. Then there's the various sensors and not to mention the wiring harnesses. Have a look at the attached PDF to give you some idea.
Without hooking the car up to the diagnostic system and reading the actual faults, there's no point speculating. I've had a look in Star and there's 19 possible fault codes for the N128 Electric parking brake system alone.
Due to the complexity of the systems involved I would think the only option for the workshop would be to go through and eliminate each fault as they come up. They would obviously examine parts as they go through their troubleshooting but it's probably not a trivial task to find the root cause of some of these electrical gremlins.

Annoying, yes. Hazardous, not so much. You're likely not in the car when the parking brake is engaged. And you likely have an auto transmission, which makes it pretty impossible for the car to move when it's placed in Park.
