Then you wouldn't be able drop on Star. On Air cars you can "trick" the ride height controller into thinking the car is too high and it lowers itself to compensate. It's only good for an inch or so max. The function is there to allow techs some room to adjust ride height if there's an issue.

You'd need a spring kit to drop your non AirMatic car.

Gorgeous car, and the drop looks good. I've dropped a 220 S before on links and for me anyway the degradation of ride quality wasn't worth the trade off in appearance while parked.

The best solution I've seen is the LoPro module that lets you adjust the height using Comand and the steering wheel buttons, but the cool part is you can set it restore full ride height at a certain speed, so if you're cruising at under 30 it's nice and low, then north of 30 it comes back up.

Thanks for the suggestion! I looked up LoMo and sadly it says its not compatible with w205's. Its $1450 though so kind of pricey but I like the fact that you can adjust the height using the steering wheel. Makes for a clean setup... you can adjust whenever you want without having to plug anything in and out

Hmm that's interesting. I'd consider AirMatic next time just for this.

I use Eibach 30mm lowering springs and I was little disappointed how car changed.
Now it jumping every small things on road. It is not smooth to drive any more.
But of course it is sexy looking now and enough low, I using 19" AMG original wheels.

I lowered the wife's C300 a couple of months ago on H&R's. Looks much better now.

Yeah, I dropped a 220 on links and it looked so awesome, but it wasn't a 220 anymore. You kind of need to decide whether you want the car to look cool on the outside or drive nice from behind the wheel.

I ended up reversing the drop and was very happy to have my old car back.

How does the H&Rs ride? And have you had anyone ride in the backseat since installing the H&Rs?
I did the Vogtlands and after 10k miles they started to feel better. Then last week I had a 180lb man in the backseat for a ride to off campus meeting and ended up haven to craw over parking garage speed bumps because I was bottoming out. Im okay with the way it rides as a two seater.
