what i wish i could figure out why the C450 exhaust is so different and i cant get the "blip" sounds even when removing my resonators on my c400

I'm not sure but I believe it's an AMG exhaust system.

I always start up in sports plus. Its the best tip I've uncovered about the car. Although I think it has more of a pop and actually crackles when started after a short drive but the crackling and blurping isnt present on a cold start

Yeah I noticed that too, in the video around the 1 minute mark I restarted the engine and you can hear crackling sounds, though very faint. It's a lot louder after a drive.

I have been trying to figure out how to start it in sport plus because anytime I shut off the car it automatically defaults to comfort. Any ideas on how to do this?

If you have push to start: Press start twice with your foot off the brake, then you can switch to S+ and put foot on the brake and start.

If you don't have push to start: Turn key till dashboard lights light up then you can switch up to S+ and then start the car.

Oh thanks for the info, I never tried that before. Here is a clip of my C200. Every time I start up the engine I here this growling sound. I think it sounds pretty nice for just a 2 liter. Skip to 01:37 for the startup (in comfort mode), because this video was actually meant to show airmatic...
