2017 C43 sedan
Believe inheartwetrust ordered his last week. I spoke with a dealer in Orlando, FL today and will order next week I have a MB coming off lease in Jan so am interested in lead times. I don't want to have the C43 coupe arrive in August OK, my heart does but my wallet doesn't.

Any chance you can get the final pricing (other than MSRP base of $55,500). I know inheartwetrust has done a great job of estimating costs for options - but would like to go into dealer and work "up" from dealer cost rather than down from MSRP. Old habits die hard.

My dealer doesn't have a definitive build/delivery date yet. Could you share some info?

jhillman posted his order of C63S on the link above. It includes the pricing.
Screenshot below:

---------------------------------------------------IGNORE BELOW. I THOUGHT IT WAS A SEDAN BUT IT IS A COUPE..APOLOGIZE.

What really surprises me is that the PREMIUM 3 package costs $5100 compared to $5350 on C300. And it's on a C63S that has Premium 1&2 package as standard.

This pricing applies to C43/C63/C63S if true.

I anticipated it's roughly a simple math that it's going to take out whatever is in standard. E.g. C43 includes Premium 1 ($1250) as standard, so Premium 3 is $5350 - $1250 = $4100

It looks like premium 1 package is not "standard" as included in the base price but as an option that you have to buy it.

I started wearing polarized, prescription sunglasses yesterday, and low and behold, the HUD is useless with the sunglasses. With my regular glasses, the HUD is very clear, with the sunglasses, I can see nothing, absolutely nothing.

It won't work with polarized sunglasses. Get the unpolarized ones or tilt your head to one side hahahaha

German Factory Order for US market
No, that order is the Coupe. P3 on the coupe (which is like P4 on the sedan) is $7400. P1 is standard on the C63 coupe and costs $2,300 on the C300(P2 is not standard on the AMG coupe). So $7,400-$2,300 = $5,100 the exact cost of the C63 P3 package

C43 AMG Coupe
Has anyone found video of standard versus performance exhaust sound comparison? Please send a link if you have.

I am super keen to order a coupe, with the performance exhaust, but don't want the whole performance package, particularly the performance seats. In Australia the performance exhaust can't be ordered separately.

Would like to know if the standard exhaust sounds great already, with enough pops and crackles? If so I won't order the performance package.

Can someone please help me.

Is it better to get a C450 now? or wait for the C43 for the winter sales event (my lease ends around there).

Thanks

well, look at it this way.

If there are c450's still on the lot at that point, they are going to be giving them away.

win, win. just wait IMO.

Yeah, I'm with alexasa. True, they'll be damn near giving away leftover 450s, but the base price is essentially the same.........might as well wait for the slightly better 43.

Not to mention, while it does not offend me (they are a business), part of me wonders whether - one way or another - MB will make up for the deep 450 discounts by getting it back some other way (unbeknownst to the consumer).

Are NOV/DEC (winter sales events) discounts that significant so as to make the C450 giveaways virtually the same discount?

Be weary of the winter sales event, and right now the summer sales event. Yes they may throw 1000, 2000, even 3K on an e class etc... but guess what Mercedes Benz Financial Services does?
They raise the money factor. So the $2k discount with higher money factor winds up really being 800-1000 not really 2K, etc.

What percentage off does "giving them away" mean? I was thinking I probably could get 20% off now if I played my cars right. Curious to hear what others think though.

*edit* i meant cards, not cars but I'm leaving it because it sort of works

If you get 20% off msrp on a new c450 what will I get when I trade my c450 in for a c43 in a couple months? I was hoping my car would lose around 20-25% on trade in with about 6000 miles on it.. If I paid 62k in January I hope I can at least get 44k in October...??

Brand new ones are going for 16% off MSRP easily...you're going to get absolutely destroyed trying to sell a one year old one. Bend over and prepare your anus, bro.

I think they'll offer you something like 38k max

Why would you even think about trading in anyway? Is the badge that important to you? Its not like youre competing in a grand prix or something where you need the newest racing technology every year
