And I hope you enjoy your C43 once it comes. I have to admit I wish I could have waited for a C43 myself, but I just couldn't walk away from 16% off MSRP on a C450...plus full trade-in value on my 2015 C300.

I guess long gone are the days at MB AMG when you could tell what was in the car by the badging, huh? That seems to have ended shortly after the full merger. Makes me happy mine was designed and produced before then.

The x65 AMG were always wrong with the 6.0L TT v12
Then the x45 with the 2.0L I4
Now all the 4.0LTT and 5.5L TT are x63 and don't correspond the engine displacement at all

And a 3.0L V6 became an 'AMG' x43

Maybe they will bring back the x36 next

when I bought insurance for c450, the insurance guy said "is that 4.5 liters?". I didn't say anything.

Which dealer gave you 16% off, if you don't mind me asking.I'd be signing paperwork right now if I could get that deal. Nobody in the DMV is willing to go anywhere near that. The most I've gotten is 12%. The dealer I DID get 16% off from backed out and said they forgot to add $6,500 to the deal.

unable to get anything near that here in Nj. The only double digit discount I've been offered is 10% off on a loaner car with 6,000 miles on it. Took me a millisecond to turn it down.

It varies per region. It's rare seeing anyone get anything north of 10% off here in the NY NJ PA area near the metropolitans.

11.25% was the best my dealer in central NJ would do. They went down to that number with just a little haggling on my part, but would not budge beyond that, despite my bluffing to them that i was shopping other dealers, considering an CPO S6, would just wait and order a C43, etc.

I expect to take delivery within the next two weeks (car was manufactured second week in August out of Stuttgart). The September numbers - just published - do not indicate any values for the C43...and numbers typically won't come out again until October 1st. Anyone have any insight as to what the dealer does to determine values for a lease?
