C250d or C300?
So, trying to decide between a C250d Coupé or a C300 Coupé...
The C250d has the new gearbox going for it, and fuel economy.
The C300 has slightly better performance, and a more interesting sound.
Has anyone driven the new gearbox, any inputs on that one?
I've only had a chance to drive the C300 so far.

I was invited to the c class coupe launch here; go with the diesel if you're OK with the tractor sound. The petrol is very quite in comparison (but form the inside, it sounds like a Mitsubishi if you floor it).
Gearbox, relatively smoother compared to my car (which is already good for me). But I'd like to see how it works after adapting to the driving dynamics.
Personally, I think diesel is irrelevant these days. Surprisingly, it remains the "gold standard" for company cars here.
Are you buying, leasing,...plan on selling later? there are several factors here to consider what to choose.
Good luck, both are very nice cars!

I'm buying the car.
I've been thinking about the sound of the engine, one of the reasons to choose petrol, but if I'm onest with myself, I listen to music almost all of the time anyway...

2015 C300
my parents' E250D is VERY rough at idle, the car shakes so much compared to my C300, i cant stand it. AND they hate using the start-stop function so the car is always vibrating. I could not handle if it was my car
