Anyone installed H&R Sport Springs on C450?
I am interested if anyone had the courage to install H&R Sport Springs on their C450?
Let us know!
That said, I don't think a different sport sprint setup (H&R or else) would take the car to a whole new/better level (handling wise) - It is just not worth it.
Curious to understand your motivation (complaint) here; if you're into "competitive tracking", perhaps a decent coil-over transformation (e.g. KW V3) is a better alternative here (although, more expensive).
As you probably know, these mods are v.tricky to perfect; you need a professional garage (with experience) to commit on your setup (whatever you decide to go with).
H&R allready has lowering springs for the C450: http://www.h-r.com/en/news/-Mercedes...0-AMG_197.html
Mine looks sufficiently decent on stock 18"ers, but an inch or so drop might do it even better, since there is about that much gap in the fender well, too.
Thanks again.
When I modded my 02 Infiniti G20 back in the day I tried just Tein springs but the ride was too bouncy on stock shocks. Ended up with Tein SS Coilovers and it was perfect with a bit more of a drop.
So I'm a bit hesitant to go 'just springs' for looks with a shoddy ride but don't want to drop it too much.

Maybe that helps someone.
I'm very curious about the result, because the OEM dampers, even in comfort mode, are pretty harsch.
