My C450 is almost S+ ready

I started to use Sport+, and started flooring the pedal after 300 miles. I have no patience, and never had before, without any problems.
First engine warm, and than full throttle.
You see the gear you are in in the head up display

I haven't driven the car in manual mode so maybe it says it then???
Wow, you're right but it's strange that the manual says 1500km or 1000 miles because 1000 miles is equivalent to 1600km.
I flirted with S+ a few times but for short instances but definitely notice the growl & tone more apparent towards the end of this break in. You notice the same?

I drove mine in S+ mode the moment I drove it off the lot. There's no such thing as "break-in" on these cars. the only thing that needed a break in is the transmission. Which I did using S+ to run it into every range possible except above 4500 for the first 500-750 miles. It's been almost 4months since I took delivery at end of September and I still only have 1700 miles on it but the car does get quicker after 1500miles and tranny is much smoother now. Not sure if it's louder, I found it pop and crackle less after the 1500 miles mark maybe cuz its learned my driving behavior and is starting to shift at higher RPMs and I have not been able to drive it hard enough on local streets for it to shift that violently from high rpms

I read the manual too. But as with all car engines, its already been ran through several hundred miles for QA before it was installed into the chassis. I consulted my in-law's neighbor who is the Northeast US AMG specialist and he told me to drive it like I stole it from day 1. He has the coolest job in the world. Drives every AMG 3 months before it's release and has a different AMG model in his driveway every month. I saw him with a C450 back in June and had test drove it before i finalized my order.

The last time I spoke to him was Thanksgiving, before the c43 talk surfaced. However, when I do visit my in-laws again I will but I think the probable C43 will be released by the time I pay my in-laws another visit lol

But when it comes to breaking in it's as always to each his own. It's your car you drive how you want to drive it. I enjoy a little spirited driving up to about 80-90mph right from the get-go and I drove in manual and made sure I shifted around 4000-4500rpm max. I also did not downshift to brake, although the car does automatically engine brake when coming from higher speeds and...it sounds amazing doing so!

I followed the 4500RPM rule up until about 350 miles. Caught a red light at night with a open stretch of road in front of me, put it in s+ and floored it. Never went back to 4500RPM rule. 3400 miles on it now and runs great. Enjoy s+!

Today i drove 200 miles, and i have experimented to find the right 'Individual' setting for me in daily driving.
Engine 'Comfort' and suspension 'Sport' is perfect for me.

mine does that too when being photographed or filmed. its the LEDs. like on top gear when the lights of the car look like they are flashing but the refresh rate of the LEDs and the camera dont match up
