Issue with A/C button?

Do any of you guys run into this similar issue where you turn off the A/C or heat by pushing the button (downwards), and then later when you go back to turn it on, the button "up button" sometimes doesn't work and you have to hit the "auto" button to turn it back on? Sorry if that sounds confusing. Hope it makes sense. Thanks.

I'll have to try it, but I live in Florida, and tbh, we don't ever turn off A/C.

I had that issue. I also had it one time where the whole line where it display the temp, AC... was greyed out. I went to the menu and turn that on but it wouldnt let me. I fumble with it and tried turning off car, then the display itself and nothing works. I cant adjust the climate control as it will not let me enable it in the menu. I then tried to arm/disarm, open /close the door and then started the car and some combination of that made it work eventually.

I had similar issue last summer. I took it to the dealer and they did not find any errors. They could not start to work on the car right away so they called me 4 hours later and everything worked fine for 5 months. Had the same issue when it was -15 C . No heat. The car was then parked for 2 hours and again it worked fine. Strange.

Thanks for your responses guys. The dealership told me they looked at it, and were able to replicate the issue. However, MB doesn't have a fix for it. I drove the courtesy car for a day and didn't have any problems with it so I wanted to see if any of you guys also had the same problem. It might be small, but you would think it shouldn't happen on a Mercedes, and that they would be able to fix it.
