Traffic Cameras
Hi, I have a C220 with the command sat nav, as part of the nav system there is an option to view drive information for the planned journey. On a trip this morning I was surprised to see the screen shown below appear. Is this a new feature?

Hi, I am based in the northwest of the U.K., Blackpool to be precise, I just support a northeast team The pictures I posted appeared on the screen of my command system last week and changed to different cameras as I was driving. I am not sure where the source came from but the weather conditions and traffic flow seemed to match the areas I was in.

This is a cool feature to show off, but I wonder how useful it is.
Isn't it better for the NAV system simply to route you around traffic instead of making the driver poke around looking at traffic cameras?

Out Of Control!!
May be very tacky, however there is a Canadian company that purports to sell a clear reflective license plate spray that when applied does not show in a traffic camera picture---additionally if you place a very hazy film plastic over the plate--the results are the same!!---none of this has been confirmed---simply here say!!

Drivers in the USA are stuck with MB 3G in car system that actually performs more like an old dialup connection. We can't use our phones 4G connection for data.
