Hello. Our GL350 is out of commission for a bit, so we have a C300 loaner for a week or so.
I've paired my iPhone to the Comand system, but I am wondering if there are any speed dial or shortcut buttons to program phone numbers to.
My BMW 535 has 6 memory buttons that I can program. I've programmed my wife's cell phone to a button, and a quick push calls her right up. How do you do this in the C class, especially since there are no hard buttons?
And secondly, the damn auto start/stop is driving me nuts. Stupid that I have to push a button to turn it off every time I start the car.

If you press the favourite button in the centre console you can add phone numbers in there. I find the favourite feature very useful for storing sat nav locations, phone numbers and radio stations.

You can also just use the button on the stearing wheel and say the persons name... Voice control is really good and easy!!

Doubtful his loaner C300 has Comand with Voice Command. I've certainly never gotten a loaner with the full Comand System.Originally Posted by Gungaslow

I've never gotten the hang of setting up fav's. But touching a button and telling my car to call someone, or choose a saved route or a radio station is just awesome to me.Originally Posted by Maritime
Voice is great but I'm happy to know of the favorites button!

If you look at the PDF in the link below on page 32 it shows how to add favouritescommand manual
The loaner does not have the full Comand system or Nav. So no voice dial available.

Here is the short video how to program speed dial presets on the new Mercedes models without the numerical hard buttons:
