I use an iPod Touch for music, but lately it does not always automatically connect at car start-up. Anybody else have this problem? Could the latest iOS be the problem. SD card works fine, but I will not have my playlists.

 

I have an issue with my iPhone being connected! It used to play automatically and if music was set to shuffle, it did! I had a software update 10 days ago and it now refuses to start to play when selecting media (a pain when I listen to the radio for the first half hour of my drive home and want to switch to the iPhone, as I have to press "play" on the phone!) When it does play, it no longer "shuffles" and I can't skip a track....

 

My problems also started after the last update, so it may be related. I had the same problem a long time ago, but it eventually just went away. Hopefully it will do that again. It works fine with my SD card, but then I will not have any playlists...

 

My car is having it's A3 service next week, I'll raise it with the dealer..

 

I powered down my iPhone and tried again today; it now plays and shuffles music as before....
