Does anyone know if the Garmin sd card can be removed and used in another car? I remember someone mentioned that once it's inserted into the car for the first time, it's mated with the car. Not sure if that is true or not. I know it can't be copied to another card, but what about taking it out and using it for another car?

Once a SD card is paired with a car (aka activated) it cannot be used on another car. Will give an error.
