Heated seats at startup default

Does anyone know if it's possible to set the car via any "secret codes" that will "save" your heated seat setting and then default to that heated seat setting at start up? Note that I was able to do this in my VW GTI and I think it's a great feature.

Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

No save heated seats setting and default is back to zero at startup.

I know that. What I'm wondering is if there's any "secret way" to program it so that it can be done that way. In VW/Audi cars, you can program certain things through the OBD2 port such as "keep heated seat setting at startup", windows up/down with remote, horn beeps with alarm, change the response of the brakes, steering, traction control, etc.

In MB, you can toggle the "DVD IN MOTION" switch - I just did this. So how about for heated seats? It seems simple enough that I would think they have this feature hidden away somewhere...

I'd love to have that feature on the new car! But you can leave the heater on in the winter before you shut the car off, upon start up it will turn the heater on and warm up the car, I guess that will warm up the seats as well. Won't it?

It's missing features like these where I feel Mercedes has let me down.

My old 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee for instance had "luxury" features that surpassed that of my current 2015 C300...features like remote start, heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.

My favorite feature of my past Grand Cherokee was when the temperature was below 37 degrees F and I remote started the vehicle, the heated driver's seat, heated steering wheel, heated outside mirrors & front/rear window defrosts would all come on automatically...so on a cold Winter morning I always entered a toasty warm & defrosted vehicle. And in the Summer months, if the outside temperature was like 80 degrees F and I remote started the vehicle, the driver's ventilated seat was activated and the A/C was turned on to MAX.

Really Mercedes? Chrysler can do this with a Jeep, but not you?

The only way you're going to fiddle with that kind of stuff is if you buy yourself a mux and have software like Vediamo. From memory I think the seat heater settings are controlled by the rear SAM.

Weird. My C350e has all the features that you mention above.
And it can be controlled by the Connect me app. I can even set if i want to pre-heat the driver or both front seats.

BMW have the seat heat setting remembered for up to 4 hours after shut off. This means hopping in and out of the car it keeps the heat ready. Works well.

No. Even though the heater will come on by itself, you always have to turn on the heated seats.
