Post your C450 with Aftermarket Wheels
Just wondering if anyone has had any success with Aftermarket wheels for their C450. If so, please post photos including rim size and tire specs. I have not had any luck with Carlsson nor Vossen.

So it looks like the shop who guaranteed me that the FF01 would fit my C450 was wrong, they ordered 19x8.5 + 45 for front and 19x9.5 +45 rear FFS!! but according to HRE a 5mm spacer will work, guess i will find out when the wheels arrive at the shop I'm going to, if not I'm back to square 1 and lost time

So it was back to the drawing board. They then ordered a front wheel, 19x8.5 +35 and will use the 225/40/19. I also have H&R springs that I am waiting to install.
Waiting on that wheel now. Let me now how yours turns out.

I know exactly what you are going through. I ordered some wheels and was assured that they would fit. Same specs as yours except the rear was +50. Well, the tried to mount them and it was a no go due to that control arm. They tried again with a 16mm spacer and the front tire(245/40/19) hit the arm. It was then suggested to use a 225/40/19 up front with the spacer. Well, the rim stuck out to much for my taste and look how close the rim is to the suspension. See below.

If you are having multi pc wheels made, they can make the wheels with a 8.0x19 front with a ET32 offset, this should position the wheel to the outside fender the same as an 8.5 with a ET45, the 225 factory 19" tire will sit more square on this rim, and should give the clearance necessary for the front Control arm.
The European tuners have not provided any update with their applications just yet, for cast 1pc wheels this is going to take time. If you want to run a 19" factory set up, you can make the factory AMG 19's a little more aggressive by using their 19x7.5 front with a 12mm spacer. I have gone back to the factory set up on my C300 using the 19x7.5 front and 19x8.5 rear, running a 12mm spacer up front, and a 15mm spacer in the rear. No rubbing and the wheels fill out the fenders nicely. I did not want to lower my car, so this option really gives the car a more aggressive appearance without sacrificing the ride and front end with driveways and tire blocks.
For now, I would strongly suggest that individuals like yourselves save your money and wait for the industry to catch up...you guys are experimenting with tires, wheels, and then your expensive cars only to find out that things don't fit...I would avoid getting too creative with tires as you may end up rubbing a fender and having a paint repair expense.
Because the C class has a good portion of cars manufactured by US production, the European tuners will require time to get these cars and test them. Also, going to production for new cast wheels takes a great deal of time, and may end up not being a worthwhile investment for that tuner, so we may see some companies not even offering an application for this specific model.

The odd thing about those Monaco's, I believe they list the 20x8 at 23 lbs but list the 20x9.5 at 34lbs. Seems impossible to me for 1.5" width difference to add 11lbs. I emailed OZ but no reply. My guess is one of those is a misprint, I hope the heavier one.

Is it confirmed that there is no way an 8.5" width rim will work properly on the front? I want to completely rule them out if that's the case. All the rims I'm looking at seem to come in 8.5" minimum width...

That's the conclusion I came up with. I hope are selection increases to have aftermarket wheels fit our cars. Wonder what the motivation was for steering away from the 8.5..
