I'm aware of the aftermarket options, and some are badass, but I'm speaking more from a manufacturer's perspective.

Front plate is a necessity all over the globe. They can't offer an integrated option that doesn't destroy the front bumper?

A tow hook screw in bracket would cost about 50 cents to make and be perfect.

 

To the OP:
I don't think the holes are a big deal. They are all covered up by the front plate cover. And as far as resale or resale of the bumper, 2 holes depreciates it just as much as 6... Just save yourself the grief and leave it alone. You can always get them repaired in the future if you really need to, but I can't see why you would ever need to...
