What is your FAVORITE feature in your w205 so far?
I see a thread what you hate about the car but didn't see one with a favorites!
Just picked up my c450 on Friday and so far my my most useful/favorite feature is the hold function. I know it may be a small feature but working in San Francisco and sitting through traffic the hold feature is nice to be able let off the gas even on hills. First automatic I've owned but so far it's working out.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
What's yours?

Well, for one, the stop-start function is nice provided the A/C is not on. I'm coming from a car that could pass anything but a gas station, and although great gas mileage is not high on my list of values 'fore I buy, not crazy enough to not appreciate saving some cash on gas. More cash to spend on eventual upgrades, right (think RennTECH ECU reflash, lowering springs, etc.). Of course, living the southern U.S., those no A/C days will end soon, but 21/29 city-higway still is better than 13/19 from the 6.2 V-8.
Also, the adaptive headlamps are kinda different............as well as the rear-view camera. Don't need it, but it helps me gauge distance, as I tend to a back in parking spots when possible.
Hell, I've even gotten used to the stupid column shifter, which is saying something. Let's just say my intense hatred has dissipated. I mean, let's be serious, AMG. Like the E/CLS/CLA/GLA AMGs, why couldn't AMG give us the same special console shifter treatment? Dammit! (There I go again) But, I've gotten over that gripe; column thing's not so bad after all. I think.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Later days, Evio19. A good thread you started.

One of my favorite things is that it automatically connects to my iPhone every time I get in the car rather than having to manually connect. Overall the W205 is just a huge improvement.
My favorite secret, or lesser known, feature is the storage area behind the seats when you pull out that bottom tab.

I have some things i really hate (terrible ride, stop-start), but the likes far out-weigh them. Things I thought I would hate, I now love after having used them - column shifter, NAV screen position. I also love the open pore ash wood trim and general interior quality, the HUD, seat comfort, good gas mileage, and engine power and acceleration. I find myself looking for excuses to take a drive!

After sitting in nearly every damn car in the NYIA, I have to say that the Mercedes interior is the best of all brands there, Audi is a close runner-up/tie. Being that all the mercedes interiors are somewhat similar in design. I would have to say that my favorite thing about the W205 is the quality of the interior. It's second to none and possibly a tie with Audi!

I like the interior design - that is, IMHO, the best interior in segment.
I don't like, though, the plastic used on center console (I drive exclusive version).
On the other hand, internet streaming works surprisingly well (android device).

Yeah, I use mine in just regular stretches of boring traffic, mainly because it cracks me up so much to see it work. Still have my foot hovering over the brake pedal as it barrels down on stopped traffic before deciding to slow down. Not like Distronic is going to get the ticket if I rear end someone.

Ahh... You mean the Paddle Shifters. At first I was like "who gets excited about the column gear selector?" I tend to use those for passing a lot. Two quick downshift taps right when I decide to strike. Big fun.
Really I have no favorite feature. The car in its totality is one big favorite feature. Love it.

Small detail, but I find it very cool that the backup camera is motorized and only pops out when used... I think this is a fantastic idea as it should stay clean a lot longer. Living in Canada where there is a lot of road salt and crap for a good part of the year means that rear view cameras get dirty and useless fast - not an issue with my C450!

I just took mine out for a joy ride and a wash. I'm on a smooth, mildly curvy and hilly stretch of country road. The AirMatic is set to Comfort. I'm in Distronic mode doing 70. The HUD is reading me the speed limit signs. Cool purified, ionized air with a mild amount of scent is wafting through the cabin. The Eagles are playing (loudly)on the Burmester via Bluetooth. I go to MB apps for a check of the top news stories. I mean, come on. The car is one big favorite feature to me.

It's funny cause as we all know, when you drive around in something special the only attention you get is from young kids/teenagers and guys. The ladies usually don't give a crap...........
