Air balancing package
Hi Friends,
It's my first post, I don't know if it's the right place to ask this question. I just bought a c450, and it doesn't have air balance package. I'm wondering if I can still get it installed from dealer or other 3rd party? Thank you.

My guess is no, since it's plumbed in and integrated into COMAND along with the ionizer. If it makes you feel any better it doesn't put out a ton of scent. Probably better off just using a conventional air freshener.

the part numbers are the following and installation looks pretty easy:
A 222 890 01 00 HOUSING PERFUME ATOMIZER
A 055 545 57 28 . PLUG
A 205 800 00 00 HOSE ASSEMBLY
A 000 995 44 14 LINE HOLDER
for the ionizer though, you'd have to remove the dash and/or heads up display if you have one.
the parts are:
A 205 835 06 00 IONIZER
A 000 994 27 45 FUSE
A 222 890 01 00 HOUSING PERFUME ATOMIZER
A 055 545 57 28 . PLUG
A 205 800 00 00 HOSE ASSEMBLY
A 000 995 44 14 LINE HOLDER

hi i read your comment too i installed the balance area on my car but i did not really smell the perfume i hear the system works but the perfume i did not feel it what do you advise me to do and thank you very muchI added this option for fun and does not regret it.[/QUOTE]

After installing this, you need to go to Mercedes dealers or service shop to do the computer programming to activate the fragrance system menu.
