USA C coupe configurator is up
The MBusa site now has the C300 coupe configurator up. Interesting interior options, and billiant blue as an exterior color option. It looks like they have all of same interior choices as the SL has. Brilliant blue is such a good color. If the c43 sedan offers this color I am going to ****.

I wish Silk Beige/Saddle Brown MB Tex was an option on the Sedan that would look great with Palladium or Selenite. I'm glad MB finally remembered they used to make colorful MB Tex and not just black.

premium packages are different than sedan i see. there's premium 3 now.
also premium 1 includes the bursmester, seems like a much better deal than on the sedan premium packages.
Premium 2 includes navi + command
premium 3 includes the active safety stuff.
Anyways, i built one with sport package, preimum 2, 4matic, illuminated star (i can't live without this), rear spoiler, MSRP came out $58k.
darn it, i should have waited for the summer for the coupe instead.

ugh, 7gtronic. i don't get how they are putting the 9g tronic in everything but the C300 coupe. (cabrio and c43s)
I would probably run out and buy a c300 coupe , but i just don't want the older tech if i'm buying something brand new (bought a 2010 A4 with a 6 speed zf, and the much better 8 speed came out the next year).
glad to see the non black mb-tex and perforated mb-tex though.

May be cost as well. Coupe traditionally is is lower volume and C300 being lower margin get old stuff to keep a healthy margin.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I just spec'ed out a C300 coupe with the options my current 2015 C300 Sport sedan has, came to over $60,000...AND NO 9G Transmission!
My wife was thinking about getting a new C300 coupe to replace her 2014 328i...not anymore.

Interesting bundling options for the packages, I see some pros and cons to this over the sedan. Very interesting that you can get it without the silly touchpad if you don't get premium 2, I would have paid extra for no touchpad on my sedan!

On the flip side, things seem to have gotten cheaper for those of us who were getting it fully loaded anyway.
I.e. the new coupe premium 2 package for $4500 is basically the sedan's Premium 2 package ($2,200) + Multimedia package ($2,690) + Hands free access ($250) = $5,140, giving a savings of $600.
The new premium 3 package for $7,400 is basically all that + Driving Assistance ($2,800) and Lighting ($800) or $8740 on the sedan, a $1000 savings.

Any chance these option configurations carry over to the sedan? Premium 1 is now cheaper than Premium 2 on the sedan (2300 P2 w/rearview camera + mandatory 580 heated seats, versus 2200 P1 w/o rearview camera + mandatory 550 blind spot assist + mandatory 580 heated seats)
